Important: Because of the gatekeeper system on OS X, your files need to be in the your music og movie folder... otherwise you'll get an error telling you failed to play... this is because gatekeeper will not give access to files outside music and movie if they have not been chosen manually from within the program... But the music folder is safe to use....
